I saw that episode, and I had the same reaction. Beck is definitely a surprise. I do not understand what Scientology is, and I had never heard that alien/volcano story. If that's for real (I mean, if that's really the basis for their religion), I can see why they want to keep it secret. Everytime I've heard a follower try to explain scientology, they say something about how it's not a religion, it's a __________."
Wasn't that the same This Week in God where he took communion and said: "Mmmmm .... transubstantialicious!" That was funny.
Few album recommendations:
1. I am really enjoying the latest Trail of Dead album. It's great.
2. The latest New Wet Kojak album (which is about two years old by now), is excellent. It's easily their best album ... lost of really good, interesting tunes.
3. Bloc Party. I think a lot of Northcoasters would enjoy them. Think, Interpol meets Blur.
Finally, has anyone heard the Stepehn Malkmus album? I heard a song on XM radio, and I couldn't believe it was him. It sounded weird as hell.
